August UK Nature Photos

August UK Nature Photos.

August is another great month to be outdoors photographing nature. The only way to progress as a beginner nature photographer is to practice and take lots of photographs. Practice, practice and practice. The more photos you take the greater is your chance to really get fine images.

Summer colour is everywhere. No mater which lens you chose to use there are plenty of opportunities to perfect and get those keepers. Here are a few examples of Christina’s work that she bagged this week using both her Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM and Canon zoom EF 100-400mm 1: 4.5-5.6 L IS ultrasonic lenses.

The close up insect photos were photographed using her new macro lens.

OK I messed up!!! Sorry.

Complementary colours found in nature.

  1. Love those tips and pics! keep them coming. I have lots of info on my site naturecontrol.wordpress.com for animals and creatures alike but not enough pics. You have inspired me to take some!
    Keep up the good work
