UK Nature Photographic Exhibition “Love Parks Week” 21st to 31st July 2011.

Park Life In Sandhurst Berkshire

Thanks to all who supported us and came to this photo exhibition. We had some wonderful reviews and comments. The raffle made over £84 and will be used towards further seating in Sandhurst Memorial Park. The winning image was the Egyptian Goose coming in to land.

The “Love Parks” theme that was celebrated in Berkshire this July. Sandhurst Town Council promoted it as ”Park Life” in honour of it’s Memorial Park and Shepherd Meadows. A nature area located in Sandhurst along the Blackwater river.

Nature photographer Christina Saunders was asked to join in, by exhibiting over 90 of her images, which were taken in the Memorial and the Shepherd Meadows Park.

The exhibition was held in the;

KITTY DANCY ROOM

Memorial Park
Yorktown Road
Sandhurst
Berkshire. UK

GU47 9BJ

The aim of this Exhibition was to promote nature awareness within our parks and celebrate the diverse range of life that surrounds us. Most of which is often over looked and unnoticed.

Christina has a unique eye for catching unusual images and presented an eclectic range of her nature images. Included was her portfolio of close up- macro work of insects and bugs. Water birds and fowl studies, together with birds and other nature photos.

Life on the pond can be joyful, fun and entertaining or very cruel. Those who came witnessed these emotions as reflected in her photos.
