We had some good UK wildlife photography opportunities, mainly of water birds, during this last week of August 2011. Photographing white mute swans, 3/4 grown cygnets, mallards, a tufted duck, moorhens, coots, black cormorant, crested grebe and their young was all possible when visiting Heath Lake near Crowthorne in Berkshire.
Good sunlight helped in getting some good shots while using the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens at the 400mm focal length setting.
